I used to be an English teacher, but I left everything behind, saving them became my life’s mission.

Here in Brazil, I rescue sick, starving dogs and cats thrown away like garbage. Today, more than 280 have already been given a second chance.

But the truth is harsh: most people here don’t help… and don’t care. We get no government support. And the fact that you’re reading this right now feels like an answer to the prayer I make every single day.

Right now, our debt is R$32.548,65, approximately $6,000, and we have no way to feed the angels living in our shelter.

They’re hungry, sick… and they look at me as if asking: “Am I next?”

This is Gaby, who contacted us because she wanted to adopt a dog for her niece. Since she already trusted our work and knew us, she decided to visit the shelter, where she fell in love with a puppy that had overcome abandonment and recovery, taking her home.

She made donations to the shelter simply because she wanted to help the cause, but when she first saw the video of Bob’s rescue on Facebook, chained, hungry, and abandoned, she was moved. After the shelter’s care restored his health, she went to meet him in person and adopted him.
